MEETING NOTICE for HDFCs in the EAST VILLAGE & LES

When: Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Where: Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (East 9th/10th St.) In the Community Room
Why: To work together to fight the City’s and HPD’s move to
make HDFC’s adopt a restrictive 40-year Regulatory Agreement
Who: All shareholders of HDFC Buildings in East Village, Lower East Side, Manhattan Community Board 3 residents

Please come and get involved – these changes proposed by the City and HPD will impact us in a profound and permanent way if we don’t take a stand against them. Unless we fight back and make our voices heard, we will no longer have the freedom to run our buildings the way we want; we will be treated like bad little children who need to be watched at all times by total strangers who care nothing about us our building history, or the love and labor we expended on OUR HOMES!
